Measures in place for members:

  • We have limited our capacity to 8 people for open gym slots, with 1 coach overseeing members.

 

  • Members may enter the gym 5min prior to time slot and must leave within 5min after.

 

  • Members are to stay in their designated area and use only their designated equipment for the workout. No sharing equipment allowed.

 

  • Members are provided with disinfectant spray and disposable cloth and must clean/sanitize all equipment used appropriately before putting away.

 

  • Everyone is to use ‘ENTER’ door to come in to building and ‘EXIT’ door to leave.

 

  • No children at this time allowed in gym, unless pre-arranged with coaching staff and distancing can be maintained.

 

  • No shared chalk allowed; everyone must have their own personal chalk if they choose to use it.

 

  • All members must pre-book time slots on Zenplanner to secure spots and for contact tracing. Drop-ins must be pre-arranged and screened prior to coming, with Fort staff.

 

  • 2 people max allowed in changerooms at one time, to allow for proper distancing.

 

  • 3 people max allowed in cubby room at one time, to allow for proper distancing.

 

  • Members must sanitize hands upon entry and may be asked to do hands free temperature check.

 

  • DO NOT get within 6ft of other members, be respectful, cautious, and aware of everyone around you.

 

  • Wearing a face mask while entering and exiting gym, in common areas and until in designated area is mandatory.

 

  • Gym is CLOSED between 2pm-4pm for cleaning and resetting for afternoon time slots.

 

  • DO NOT enter gym if feeling unwell or have any covid-19 symptoms, have been outside of country within 14 days or have been exposed to anyone with covid-19.

 

 

Gym Equipment and cleaning:

  • All cardio equipment has been placed 6ft apart, all racks and rig space is a minimum of 6ft apart, all usable pull-up bars and rings are a minimum of 6 ft apart.

 

  • Use only outside pullup bars at this time, no middle bars allowed.

 

  • No sharing equipment.

 

  • Members must clean all equipment used, including skipping ropes, bands, dowels, rings, bars, etc.

 

  • 30minutes between time slots has been added to schedule to clean, sanitize, and reset gym to appropriate condition.

 

  • Thorough cleaning between time slots includes all door handles (enter/exit, washrooms, changerooms, stalls), sinks/faucets, toilets, showers, light switches, benches, and any equipment accidentally missed by members.

 

  • Coaches will clean floor between time slots of any chalk, dirt, sweat, droplets, etc., with disinfectant mop.

 

  • Signs are posted throughout the gym to remind members and staff of social distancing and protocol.

 

  • Fans are placed around gym and bay doors may be opened for adequate ventilation.

 

Coaches and staff members:

  • Coaches and staff are to enforce protocols for members.

 

  • Coaches are required to clean/sanitize between time slots and ensure that equipment was cleaned adequately by members.

 

  • Coaches are not to come into gym if feeling unwell and must have shift covered if so.

 

  • Coaches are to maintain 6ft distance between themselves and members.

 

  • Coaches may wear a facemask if they choose to do so.

 

  • Coaches and staff may choose to not work if they feel uncomfortable.
